Flexible Configuration for Your Evolving Needs
Each one of our Smooth Move models is built on a common control architecture that supports various operations, ranging from simple delivery loops to sophisticated multi-destination routes. Our systems can be field programmed by customers or by factory application support teams, enabling flexible control of distance, speed, direction, sound, collision avoidance, and intersection management.
Our exclusive vehicle-to-vehicle radio communication feature allows intersection management via simple radio I/O units without the need for a master fleet controller on basic AGV systems. Alternatively, we offer full-fledged master cart control panels for complex, feature-heavy systems.
Our Smooth Move AGVs are built to work with magnetic tape, a cost-effective solution that allows for easy modification of vehicle paths. On board dead-reckoning capability allows the vehicles to ignore small to moderate gaps in the taped path while maintaining the ability to shut down if there is no path detection within a specified travel distance. For customers interested in a tapeless system, IDC works with BlueBotics and Sick, industry leaders in tapeless AGV navigation.
